after a depressing end to my exams T.T the bf took me out for a nice dinner, Chatime and crepes. so complete! :)

Dinner was at Celcius, Grote St. loved the big tables. so much space, but for so little food lol. cuz we cant affords a feast xp

Holidays geez! about time yeeeyayay!

so much passion to bake again. started off with my dad's birthday cake challenge. being away from the food blog browsing, food porn stalking for far too long, i'm so out of it.

i no longer have a list of recipes-to-try, list of following bloggers, bookmarked pages of recipes :(

so i had to dig this out of stored ideas and imagination.chocolate cakes, layered tortes, sponge cakes, durian cake, etc. such a wide range of possibilities! :O

what finally narrowed down my choice was the box of mangoes we bought from Woolies that afternoon. settle! Mango cheesecake it was! :P

like the sweet and salty cake i made for mom few years back, i was pleased and amazed by the end product ^^ yummy!

i think i got the flu its so annoying. ive got a stuffy nose for weeks! and cant taste food or breathe properly most days :/ what a bitch

the pros and cons of being single vs being in a relationship.

how to solve the problem? Find a guy who understands the joy of both and so gives you space so that you can enjoy the feeling of being single once in a while too, eg. occasional days with your friends doing what you usually do like old days.

also, people complain about the changes they see when their friends get into a relationship. i only started to understand, from the inside view, that these changes are sometimes done to adapt to what your partner's likes/dislikes.

you just can't do wtv you like or used to as freely anymore, cuz there's someone else's feelings you need to worry about now.

i guess in the end, it makes it all worth it if you are doing it for the one you love ;)

Science fact#1... cuz I'm a Pharm student....? lol i kid :P but anyway, if you wanted to know,

washing your hands with soap and water MAKES NO DIFFERENCE! T.T cant even kill d bacteria look at before and after results.

sorry for the uber long disappearance and hiatus.

and no, its not cuz I'm busy pat toh-ing....(or maybe?) lol nah jokes. I'm just getting to the stage every blogger will go through one day...the lazy-to-blog phase :O

latest update: yes I have a bf. one that loves me lots, but shows so much anger to me and scares me too. gota say, the ride has not been easy, but the good times we have together are amazing :)

Once again, we were back at Victor, with a similar group :)

Accommodation was cheap and sweet!

but somehow, there was something different about the trip this time round. there was just a kind of distance :S

yea I would say I enjoyed the last trip more, cuz it seemed like we did more stuff at home and bonded over board games, cooking, one stupid movie, nerf wars etc. and I was closer with a few?

friendships do change over the years...sad but true. but i still love them heaps :)

the game of Kings was good fun tho, and some pretty amusing people we had!

 the bridge to Granite island. Scenery by the beach always looks so pretty! kinda reminds me of our crabbing days in summer.

Feeeesh and Cheeeeeps! Runner up for Best Fish and Chips in SA, didnt disappoint :P good meal. i like duh fish a lot.

overall, a chilled get away! then back to reality, whole week of work T.T but honestly I love my job(s) :D tho it means i'm kinda losing my hols, at least I'm getting the *ka-ching2 and the *ba-bling2 ^^ and really, its not much, but enough to fund my spendings and recover from these trips and shopping splurges I've been on xp

Holidays, only one more week left D: results, not great. sads. gotta do better next sem and not slack, otherwise gg my life.

but Praise the Lord, I passed them.

Treasuring my freedom

Knowing I most probably might fail this sem D': I'm making the most out of the holidays I have now....which is till results come out. don't even wanna think about it T.T

Flew to Melbourne the day right after exams. and those 6 days were the best!!  I wouldn't have wanted to travel with any other than those guys+girls :D

Melbourne city is so pretty. tall buildings. nice architectures....indeed, one of the best places to live in the world!

Visited Yon at his place all the way in the suburbs and he purposely woke up early to make me breakfast! while i hand squeezed 10 oranges for fresh orange juice. so much TLC!

Another one of my bestest travel companion, Zhen. we ate lotsa pockys together! ^^

Food wise, sushi burger was awesomeeeeee! So was Grill'd! *droools* burgers are just that great! in any way (Y) what a pity both of these, we can't get it in SA :(

Macarons were delicately made. to me, they're just eye candy, i rather eat desserts like snow ice or icecream!! :P

Hardware Lane, LIVE JAZZ! i melt at the music, perfect dining atmosphere. loves!

maybe its also cuz Whatsapp drains battery heaps :S
