Over the weekend

Its only when friends come over that we get a chance to really see Adelaide.

Our first trip was the Barossa Valley. I have always wanted to go there. you should know, Adelaide is famous for our wines, so this was a must-go.

After tasting from 2-3 wineries...i already felt so jelak of alcohol - wine, port, dessert wine, liqueur xpp

As you can see from the pic, the vineyard is botak, cuz its winter. nevertheless, the scenery was beautiful.
We wanted to find lunch from Gawler at about 3pm and omg that small town was a Ghost town. we ended up eating Subway.

We also visited a craft fair at the showgrounds on Sunday. i got myself very expensive toys ; ) hehehe. i am sooo happy with my new purchases!Dinner at aunty Esther's house and Rummikub up till 1am in the morning.

and yes WenYi is backkk!

I get lazy when it comes to removing make-up...

Its funny cuz its the holidays and i have nothing much to blog about.

oh ok. i shall start by commenting on how i thought my sis looked really hot during her formal *whistles* good job Genial on the make up and hair!

yea she got the better looking genes. lucky her xDOther than that, oh you could probably guess what i have been keeping myself busy with at home x)next. my double chin is turning into a triple cheese burger. yes how tragic! boohoo =(

not forgetting the world shaking news. i guess everyone has heard it by now...

not MJ's death. pls get over that one. tho after watchin his old concerts, i realised what a talented person he was. i started to really admire his songs and dance moves. dang he's good!!!! cuz in my mind, before, he was always that weird fake-white pale-face skinnish looking pop-star who always had sth to do with children. but now, this whole drama kinda changed my perspective of him. he's pretty decent i reckon. (tho my opinion on his looks didnt change)

well anyways, what i wanted to say was...
BLITZERZ won Cheer 2009!
awesome job girls. i'm so proud!!!! =D it kinda made me feel privileged to be a former Blitzerz, if you know what i mean.

when i got the text from Sarah, i was seriously just overwhelmed and super duper overjoyed. more like deliriously happy, ecstatic...!

im bad in finding words to truly describe my feelings, thats why i use simple words like happy, glad, and not bombastic ones like... ... ... *pin drops* ... ...err...ya see what i mean, i can't even think of one good bombastic word. *shrugs*

Congrats anyways!! Blitzerz finally made history. i really hoped i was there =( did watch the video a million times already anyway. kinda got like 1% of the atmosphere. good enough. it made my day!

and...Hosanna is finally here from Abu Dhabi. the next 18 days would be a lot more fun =)

Lets put the books away

i can finally START my holidays!

first half of uni is done. no doubt, it was challenging.
but I have really seen God's work in it throughout the whole time.
although still wondering whether Pharmacy actually suits me...and whether its a course I really want to do, i believe God has His purpose. and we'll see how it goes...

A few lil' updates from past week.
Aunty Christine and family
are leaving to Brunei =(a farewell tea party at home. also before aunty So Lin and family goes back to Malaysia for holidays.
just before you start to look weirdly at me and question why I hang around aunties...
know that in Australia, families are very well knitted together. and this aunties and uncles are super duper awesome people!

Other than them, Mandy also finally left to Melbourne! =( she was here only for 6 months. that was short. but we managed to spent a lot of time together.

just before she left, we got the MasterChef over to do her thing. it was fun! despite it being in the midst of my crucial exam time.we had a three course dinner
pear and walnut salad with boccocini, honey, lemon and mustard dressing for starters

so i realized, everyone is leaving!

so are most of these people. Some back to Malaysia, some to Melbourne.

so we got this picture today at morning glory $15 bucks after the exam. after our lunch at sushi train. i absolutely love that place. i adore sushi!

i had the yummiest soft shell crab sushi. havent had soft shell crab before. and it does taste good in a sushi!

i also gobbled down about 8 packets of sushi ginger xpp

so yes. i should start planning for the holdiays. i finally got the 3 week break i have been looking forward to!!!!! =)) *smiless* i can do whatever i want now!

oh btw. some SUPER lucky South Australian man from the western suburbs won $53 million yesterday!!! OMGEEEEEEEEE -.-"

there's a higher chance of you getting struck by a lightning than winning it, seriously.

Health and Society

I have a 6.30 PM exam today -.-"
on a dark, cold and gloomy, winter's night.

this subject is so urgghhh, thats why they get the worst time slots.

We have to learn about why poor, fat and sick people live very disadvantaged lives, which make them have poor levels of health.

Actually they are very ke lian, i have empathy for them.
if only a am RICH and loaded, then i could help these people.

but this subject teaches us that $ can't solve all of their problems...because.

anyway, after learning so much from this course...

my conclusion is, their only hope is in JESUS =))

My first exam on a Saturday

I think i have had enough of Chemistry and food.
my brain needs rest and so does my stomach. seriously.

gastric motility has been ultra high, Gastrin production i'm sure has increased, as well as the activities of the parietal and chief cells. i feel sorry for the stretch receptors in the stomach as they might have been recieving loads of stimuli. i salute the CNS, its doing a great job xD *coughoutphysiology*

so i'm gona let my body just stop and rest now...

wake up tomorrow, eat scone, do the exam tomorrow and at least get the first one out of the way!
roar.

sigh. when everyone's done with their exams already, mine hasnt even started. always the last =( i need my holiday now!

Stop by to say hi
